What is mKidz?

mKidz is our children’s program where we  have engaging classes for children from 6-months to grade 4. children attending will  be taught about God at a level appropriate for their different ages and styles of learning.

Here at Milestone, it’s important to us to partner with parents to teach children to love God and help them grow in their faith. What better way for them to do this then through singing songs, reading bible stories together, playing games, making crafts, and eating snacks all while being supervised by our background-checked and trained volunteers!

The most important part of any play is what happens “behind the scenes.” There’s lighting, wardrobe, casting, playwriting — so much has to happen perfectly to bring the production together! In the story of Esther, there is a whole lot going on behind the scenes, too. In this four-week series, kids will discover the most important character in Esther’s story isn’t always center-stage, but can often be found behind the scenes working, helping, giving support and giving peace. (Spoiler alert: It’s God!)

What will my child learn at mKidz?

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God and understand the value of applying His words to their lives. We know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

Will my child make friends at mKidz?

Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, so we provide mKidz options from 6months-4th grade during our weekend experiences.

How do I check in my child in to mKidz?

On your first visit, look for the mKidz check-in area. If you can’t find it, one of our staff or volunteers will be happy to help you!

At Check-In, you’ll be welcomed by a mKidz greeter eager to meet your family and show you how mKidz works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We’ll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

To help us make your experience better, we encourage you to pre-register your child(ren) using the link provided above.

How does mKidz ensure my child is safe and secure?

In mKidz, safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why we have a secure check-in system. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you’ll show the mKidz leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room.

Every mKidz volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked supervisors during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message.

When can I drop off and pick up my child from mKidz?

Come see us at the mKidz Check-ins desk 20 minutes before service at 10:40am. Sign-in will begin then.

We ask that you pick-up your child no later than 15 minutes after service has ended so that our wonderful team of volunteers can quickly clean and have time to fellowship as well.
