- Easy to Fix : Gently remove old loose tape,Clean heating strip area with rubbing alcohol and slick paper. Allow to dry,cut new piece of high temp teflon tape from the roll as long as old tape. Apply new tape over heating strip, you may need to trim the tape a bit to insert into slots on either end. Never clean heat strip area with wet cloth as that causes tape to loosen.
- High Quality: PTFE coated fabric teflon tape is a hard wearing material ,very sturdy and smooth,reinforced and strong. Have an adhesive back, has a very strong bond and is quite slippery (not quite as good as Teflon).This tape maintains high temperature resistance to 550F.
